BBC Appeal: Can You Help Identify 'Kingsthorpe Man'?
Locate International have teamed up with the BBC to solve a mystery that has remained unsolved for 13 years. The enigmatic case of the 'Kingsthorpe Man' has taken centre stage in an effort to reunite him with his name. The joint venture with the BBC aims to harness the power of collective knowledge to finally put a name to this unidentified individual.
Our 'Kingsthorpe Man' appeal has received extensive coverage across various BBC platforms, including BBC Look East TV, BBC Radio Northampton, and BBC Sounds. Furthermore, a detailed article is available on the official BBC website, offering an in-depth look at the case and the ongoing appeal.
His life came to an end on 19th November 2010 at the Grosvenor Shopping Centre in Northampton, UK. To this day, the investigators have been unable to determine who he was or where he came from. With the passage of time, the quest to uncover his identity has only grown more complex, but we strongly believe that 'Kingsthorpe Man' deserves to be more than just an anonymous figure in a tragic story.
Our appeal hopes to gather information and clues from the public that could help unravel the mystery. Despite the challenges presented by the passage of time, there is hope that the collective efforts of the community and the viewers of BBC platforms will make a significant difference in the ongoing investigation.
Every small piece of information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be the key to identifying this man. Our Head of Media, Freya Couzens said:
You often hear the phrase 'kept himself to himself', but as much as that might be the case for someone, there is usually one person who used to work with him, or has spoken to him, knows some small detail. That could be what leads us to find his family or friends.
Locate International and the BBC are therefore urging the public to come forward with any information, no matter how trivial it may appear, that could potentially give investigators new lines of enquiry into 'Kingsthorpe Man’.
If you or anyone you know has even the slightest inkling of information that could help identify this individual, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
