Lincolnshire Man

Found On: 31st December 2018

On New Year’s Eve 2018, a man’s body was recovered on a salt marsh in a tidal area near RAF Holbeach, Spalding, Lincolnshire, England. The man was between 20 to 40 years of age, 5ft 6 to 5ft 10 in height, and a medium build. It was estimated that he had died sometime around 16 December 2018.


He had dark brown, straight, shoulder-length hair. He was wearing size ten black ‘Goodyear’ boots, a ‘High Point’ gilet in size 14, a black Alice band, a black ‘Interlink’ jacket with red and white detailing. A ‘Slazenger’ top in size large, a black ‘McKenzie’ t-shirt, a black ‘Inuit’ t-shirt in size medium, and a black ‘Marks and Spencer’ t-shirt in size medium. He also wore a white ‘Primark’ top, ‘Gap’ trousers, and blue’ T U’ jeans in size 34W and 32L.

In his possession were a generic plastic gold school sports day winner medal and a 2″ diameter compact mirror with the Disney character Belle’s image.


This investigation will be led by our team at the University of Central Lancashire.
