Charlotte Leach

Charlotte is an experienced communications professional with a decade's experience in public affairs, policy, local government and public engagement. She spent eight years as a local councillor, both in Lancashire and Cheshire, and worked in Parliament for two MPs. When first elected in 2014, Charlotte was one of the youngest councillors in the country at the time.

Charlotte has also worked on numerous election campaigns including the 2015, 2017 & 2019 General Elections, the EU Referendum and annual Local Elections. Since leaving Parliament, she has worked for some of the country’s leading companies both in-house and at agency providing political and strategic advice. She joined Locate in March 2024 and is leading on the charity's public affairs activity.
