Unidentified People

We are actively working on on a number of unidentified people investigations. To facilitate this work, we deploy teams of trained, community volunteers and university students to review and investigate unsolved missing person and unidentified remains cases.

Through our National Cold Case Analysis Project, we are able to draw on these resources to both harness and mobilise the skills and energy of over 200 volunteers, each offering a broad range of professional, academic and personal experiences and skills.

Please be aware that the cases and pages listed below may contain sensitive images that some viewers may find distressing. By continuing to scroll down this page, you accept that you understand that our website contains images of this nature.

In the world of unidentified people, countless faces remain shrouded in mystery, their stories untold. Behind every set of remains or composite sketch, there's a life, a name, and possibly, friends and family that long for closure.

Every small piece of information, every seemingly insignificant detail, could be the key to solving these mysteries. The tiniest memory, a long-forgotten photograph, or a connection you never knew existed – these pieces can be the ones that bring a name to the face.

If you have any information, no matter how seemingly minor, please get in touch. Submissions may be anonymous.
