Redwick Man
Found On: 26th February 1977
On 26th February 1977 a male body was recovered from the Severn Estuary at Redwick, Monmouthshire.
He is described as being a White European aged between 20 – 50, 183cm (6ft) tall, thin build, with black receding hair.
What we know
He was wearing blue jeans with a 30” waistband, light coloured socks and black size 9 slip-on shoes. A handmade light grey V neck sweater was found 10yds from the body.
In his possession were a brown leather wallet which was made in England and contained English bank notes. A Yale mortice key marked C20, a Yale mortice key marked Willen 160, a Dominion Lock and a pair of scissors.
