Where is Andreas?
Can you help find him?
Missing since 2003
What we know about Andreas…
Andreas was born in Passau, Germany in 1974, and spent part of his childhood in Lagos, Nigeria. He later lived and studied in Cyprus before returning to Germany in the late 1990s.
In around 1999 or 2000, Andreas moved to London. Communications with his family and friends suggest he studied at Middlesex University, Hendon Campus, and graduated in 2003.
During his time at university, he worked as a concierge at Writtle House, which was then owned and managed by Westway Housing. He also lived for a time at Usher Hall and at a property on Watford Way, Hendon, NW4, close to the Police Training College.
While in London, Andreas wrote to his family about his girlfriend, Sara(h) (spelling uncertain). He described being deeply in love and mentioned that she was Indonesian. His family recall that she was expected to return to Indonesia after completing her studies in London.
He also spoke fondly of friends named Liz, whom he described as South Korean, and Sadina, described as Indian-Kenyan. Despite efforts to trace them, none of these friends — nor Sara(h) — have yet been located. We are keen to speak with them, as they may hold important information about Andreas’ life and his plans for the future.
He is believed to have left the UK in mid-to-late 2003, shortly after completing his studies, travelling first to Cyprus to visit family before continuing on to Munich, Germany.
Andreas left a suitcase with a friend in Munich. It contained several personal items, including three books: The Complete Guide to the Music of John Lennon, The Complete Guide to the Music of Bob Marley, and The Art of Strategy: A New Translation of Sun Tzu’s The Art of War. He said he would return to collect these items before travelling back to London, but his friend has not heard from him since.
Andreas, if you are reading this, we would be glad to speak with you. We simply want to know that you are safe, with no other expectations.
Please note; we know that Andreas has relatives with similar names living in the Passau area. These individuals are not the same person as Andreas, and any reference to them should not be confused with him.

Do you know Sarah or Sara?
At university, Andreas had a girlfriend known as Sara or Sarah, and they lived together at an address in Hendon, North London. Those who knew them described them as a very happy couple who were deeply in love.
They spent time travelling together across parts of Europe, including Milan, and shared a love of cooking and hosting friends. The couple were known to celebrate Indonesian traditional holidays and to enjoy exploring London’s parks, markets, and restaurants together.
Their relationship was a significant part of Andreas’ life during his university years. We believe that Sara(h), who is of Indonesian origin, may hold key information about his plans and movements after graduation and his visit to Cyprus. Despite extensive efforts, we have not yet been able to trace her.
Photos below show Sara(h). Do you recognise her?
Andreas’ sister Tola, who lives in the USA, describes Andreas as a planner by nature with big dreams for the future, she described him as assertive and goal oriented and how all they talked about was the future and his plans after his college graduation.
Tola describes his disappearance as totally out of character, with no obvious underlying personal reasons.
