Dr Mark Greenhalgh
Dr Mark Greenhalgh is a distinguished senior police officer with over 25 years of service, having progressed from Constable to Chief Superintendent. He has extensive operational and strategic expertise and is a qualified executive coach committed to developing people and teams.
Mark has dedicated much of his career to protecting vulnerable people, with particular expertise in Domestic Abuse, Child Abuse, and Missing Persons investigations. A seasoned leader, he has adeptly managed missing-person teams at both tactical and strategic levels. His role as a Senior Investigating Officer in numerous missing person cases has provided him with profound insights into the complexities and opportunities these investigations present.
He is recognised nationally and internationally in digital forensics and was the first UK law enforcement investigator to be awarded Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec).
Mark holds an MSc in Criminal Psychology, specialising in missing persons, and a Doctor of Criminal Justice, with research focused on effective investigative interventions for long-term missing persons and cold cases. Mark is deeply committed to advancing the field of Missing Persons.
