Strengthening Our Leadership: Our Trustees

At Locate International, strong governance underpins everything we do.

In 2025, we were delighted to welcome three new trustees to our Board: Mark J Williams, Denise Stygal-Watson, and Ian Brownhill.

Each brings specialist expertise in strategy, law, and business leadership. Their combined experience strengthens our organisational resilience and supports our ambitious plans for 2026 and beyond. As we continue to grow - reviewing more cases, expanding partnerships, and increasing public engagement - their insight and guidance are already proving instrumental.

Experience That Drives Progress

Trustees play a vital role in ensuring accountability, oversight, and long-term sustainability. They provide strategic direction, challenge assumptions, safeguard governance standards, and help ensure that our growth remains responsible and mission-focused.

Our new trustees join an established Board deeply committed to our work.

Alongside them, our existing trustees - Cheryl Allsop, Charlie Hedges MBE, and Tanja Conway-Grim - continue to provide invaluable leadership. Their continuity, sector expertise, and institutional knowledge remain central to our mission and long-term stability.

Together, our Board combines fresh perspective with experience and innovation.

Looking Ahead to 2026 and Beyond

As a volunteer-led organisation operating without government funding, strong governance is essential. Our trustees ensure that as we expand our investigative capacity and public engagement, we do so with transparency, professionalism, and clear strategic direction.

With six trustees now guiding the organisation, we are well positioned to build on the progress of 2025 and continue strengthening our impact in the years ahead.

We are grateful for their time, expertise, and commitment to ensuring that no missing person is forgotten.
