Volunteers Week

Volunteers Week takes place 1-7 June every year. It’s a chance to recognise the fantastic contribution volunteers make to communities all over the world, and to say thank you.

At Locate International, we are entirely volunteer-powered, and in support of our volunteer community, we’ll be sharing posts, snippets, quotes, and stories from the people who turn our investigations into action.

Volunteers’ Week 2022 is a time to reflect on the work we as an organisation do. During an exceptionally difficult few years, as the world recovered from a global pandemic, we are honoured that people from all walks of life have taken the time to volunteer for Locate International.

From Active Search investigators, Team Leaders, Training Managers, Media volunteers, University student volunteers, and all the way to the partners, associations, and organisations; thank you.

The time our community commits makes a huge difference to the cases and causes we support.

If you’re interested in joining our volunteer community, we currently have vacancies in our Media Team. You can read more about the roles and experience available here.
