Bromley Woman
The body of an unidentified female, aged between 35 and 50 years, was discovered on 24 April 2004, hanging from a tree in a wooded area of Queensmead Recreation Ground near Bromley Parish Church. It is believed that she had been in that position for 2-3 days, with the estimated date of death being 21 April 2004.
She was approximately 175cm (5 Ft 9 Ins) tall, with a dark complexion and shoulder-length blonde or light brown hair. She had several scars, including an appendectomy scar on the right of her abdomen, a scar on her right arm, and a small scar on the left foot.
She was wearing a cream jacket, a black cardigan over a long black blouse, black trousers in size 16 and black pants with a single pink flower motif. Her blouse, trousers and pants were all by “Jeff & Co.”. She was also wearing black leather “Spirit” slack style ankle boots in size 6. A beige jacket was discovered at the scene.
She wore several bracelets on her left wrist - a wooden bangle and four beaded bracelets with round black, green, multiple colours, and mauve/white beads. She may also have had a lucky feng shui charm, three Chinese coins tied together with red ribbon.
