Secker Street Man

Found On: 18th July 1970

On 28th July 1970, a man was found in a children’s playground in Secker Street, London SE1. His death was caused by him obtaining multiple injuries that were consistent with a fall from a nearby roof.

What we know

A postmortem examination revealed the presence of alcohol in his blood. He was described as being white European, approximately 5’7″ tall and of stocky build. He had short, fair hair and blue eyes, and was wearing green canvas shoes, a beige crewneck jumper and purple trousers. He had with him a return train ticket from Farnborough to London issued on 17th July 1970 and a small amount of cash.
