Locate International at the Local Authority Registration and Coroners' Services Annual Conference 2025 – Solihull

Fresh from this year’s conference, Dave Grimstead shared his reflections on the event and the people he met.

It was wonderful to attend this year's conference, reconnect with colleagues from last year, and engage in valuable discussions with the Chief Coroner, WPC Software, CIVICA, Estate Research, the National Bereavement Service, and Annubix.

While unidentified individuals represent only a small portion of the Coroners’ workload, they can place significant demands on both coroners and policing teams. Investigations can become complex and resource-intensive without biometric matches.

We enjoyed speaking with those working on the frontline about how Locate International can assist in identifying the unidentified at no cost. This is made possible through the dedication of our volunteers and the pro bono support from our network of specialists and partner organisations, such as Altia, Forensic Analytics, Blue Lights Digital, Microsoft and i2 Group
