Missed it the first time? Watch The Body Detectives on Channel 4

We’re pleased to share that Channel 4 is repeating The Body Detectives, the three-part documentary series following the work of Locate International.

Originally broadcast in 2024, the series follows our founder and former detective Dave Grimstead as he works alongside specialist experts and volunteers to investigate long-running cases involving missing people and unidentified bodies.

Across three episodes, The Body Detectives explores how new forensic techniques, fresh research and a determination to revisit cases that have remained unanswered for many years can uncover new information and, ultimately, help restore a name to someone who has lost theirs.

The series also gives viewers an insight into the work that takes place behind the scenes at Locate International, bringing together expertise from a wide range of fields to look again at cases where traditional lines of enquiry may have been exhausted.
